Tips To Reduce Day-Of Stress

There is nothing worse than a stressed-out bride on her wedding day. With wedding planning checklists being a mile long, there are always a few things that get lost in the shuffle or forgotten altogether. Our biggest fear is for a bride to have to worry about anything on her big day. Therefore, keep reading for our best day-before tips to keep your wedding day low stress!

Prepare vendor tips in advance

It is customary and appreciated to tip your wedding vendors after the wedding. However, since nobody really carries cash with them anymore and definitely not in the amount it takes to tip all of your vendors, make sure to hit the ATM the day before your wedding. We recommend separating the allocated money into individual envelopes labeled for each vendor. Make sure you give these envelopes to the designated person on the wedding day, typically your planner, so they make it into the correct hands after the wedding.

Confirm travel arrangements and exit car

Confirm your flight plans or hotel bookings for the honeymoon the day before your wedding to make sure everything is in order. The same goes for your exit car. Confirm the time and place they are picking up. This garentees that you wont be worrying about after your wedding, during your wedding.

Prepare all styling details

Styling is one of our favorite parts of wedding day and ensures that you have photos to help you remember some of the smaller and most important details of your wedding. However, we need these objects to make the magic happen! If you are having styled details at your wedding, which we always recommend, make sure to set these details aside so they’re all ready for the pictures and nobody is running around trying to find them.

Make sure you know who will be in charge of gathering gifts

After your big exit, someone will need to be in charge of gathering the gifts and special objects and making sure they get them where they need to be. Make sure you designate this job as well as where these things will be going. While your planner will normally gather these things, she will need to know who they will be going home with. We would never want your grandmother’s cake knife to get left behind or wind up with the wrong person!
