From Inspiration to Implementation - Tara and Will's Wedding

To kick off the new year, wanted to reflect back on some of our favorite days from 2020. Therefore, our first blog post of 2021 is going to be the first post in our new series where we break down the inspiration boards from past weddings and how the weddings came together. We have shared Tara and Will’s wedding on the blog a few times already and there is no surprise that we wanted to show it off again! Seriously, I was so magical and all came together so beautifully.

After first speaking with Tara and getting a little insight into her vision for her wedding, we were able to put together this inspiration board to showcase some of the ideas we had for her big day. Since the wedding was taking place at the beach, they wanted to incorporate blue as their main accent color. To keep blue standing out, we went with some greenery to compliment the cool tones. Tara and Will also wanted some personal included in their wedding to really make it feel even more special for their guest.

After all the planning and prep that went into their big day, I was beyond excited to finally see everything come together. Their inspiration board played a vital role in bringing their dream wedding to life and was so helpful to share with vendors when making both the big and small design decisions.

Picking my favorite part of their wedding is so difficult considering I loved every minute of getting to be a part of it. However, a few elements really stood out to me when the day was over. For starters, the glasses they had were some of my favorite ever! They were so beautiful and fit the inspiration perfectly. The blue color is stunning and a design highlight for sure.

Another great aspect of Tara and Will’s wedding was the green velvet suit that Will wore. Although rather untraditional, it was a statement and something to remember for sure. I loved how it showed off the couple’s personality and added such a fun tough to the day.

Lastly, I loved the muted tones that really allowed their accent colors to shine. From the simple and stunning bridesmaid dresses to the beautiful and beach-inspired florals, this wedding was definitely at the top of my list for 2020.

I would love to hear what you think of the inspiration and execution in the comments below!
