Shellie + Cody | 255 Milledge | Athens, GA

Shellie + Cody’s wedding day is one we have been dreaming up for YEARS. That’s not an exaggeration. Shellie booked all of her vendors over three years ago, not anticipating all the curve-balls that were to come. Nonetheless, we were finally able to celebrate Shellie + Cody earlier this month, and it could not have been more beautiful for this highly anticipated day. As we all know, “fall” in Georgia can mean 80° or 50°, however, their wedding day was brisk, cozy, and the epitome of what fall is all about.

Throughout the day, it was evident the love that Shellie + Cody share, but it was so special to see the love shown by those around them. Shellie + Cody are truly surrounded by such wonderful friends and family, and it added so much to this day. I loved getting to work so close with Shellie to create the aesthetic of her dreams. As usual, Brett Glenn worked her floral magic with such incredible pale pinks, whites, and cream blooms sprinkled throughout the ceremony and reception. Paired with the neutral table linens, I loved how seamlessly the two mixed together. 255 Milledge, in the heart of Athens, was the perfect spot to celebrate this University of Georgia loving couple. Though it was a chilly night in Athens, the outdoor tent, courtesy of Oconee Events Inc., created such a cozy atmosphere.
